So the workaround I'm using at the minute is to use a midi track with the input coming from my oxygen v2, setup as a send to the track with Amplitube 3 on it. If you change the input of the track with Amplitube3 to your midi controller midi learn works but its no longer an audio track. You could do this for all your favourite presets which I'm sure could take up a lot more than the 16 parameters assignable through Reaper. within a preset & save the preset then you'll be able to control those particular parameters for that preset everytime.

assign a control or knob to the amps gain, tone, reverb etc. Yes I've done that too but its very limited in that you can only assign 16 midi controls to the 16 parameters. I really hope this makes some sense, I should probably stick to lurking Expose 16 chosen parameters to REAPER, then use REAPER's midi learn functions. That is why I suspect you got results only after turning the track into a midi track-it was like plugging a controller into amplitube.Īnyway the way I stated originally will work. Even with the stompIO, you would have to pulg an external midi controller (BCR2000) into it if you want to contol more parameters directly (there are hundreds) in the plug-in as described in the product literature. Which only works to the fullest if you are using one of their hardware controllers. And of course no set-up is needed when it is used with IK’s new StealthBoard, StealthPedal and StompIO controllers and interfaces. Simply click on the control knob/parameter of any of the gear and the new MIDI learn function will allow to immediately set the selected control to respond to the corresponding MIDI control function of your gear. New MIDI learn for compatibility with any controllerĪmpliTube 3 makes it easier than ever to control it using any existing MIDI gear. Looking at the website, you might be trying to do this: I believe you have to assign the parameters (16 only) you want to be midi controlled within the plug-in itself, then REAPER's midi learn functions can be used normally-on those 16 parameters only.
